About Me and My Blog

I am a full-time swing/day trader trading stocks & options. I got into stock trading/investing since the internet bubble in 1998, and it has become my passion ever since. I am optimistic in life and objective in trading.

My trading style has been influenced by IBD‘s CAN SLIM about stocks’ fundamentals and Dan Zanger‘s teaching on chart patterns and price action; meanwhile, in reality, I trade actively based on my own technical analysis, my own instinct and judgement, and trading my plans. I usually focus on highly active stocks with momentum moves, either going up or down with big moves.

    Hi Angela,
I enjoy your knowledgeable commments on StockTwits. I also like that you are a follower of Dan Zanger. I was contemplating about attending his yearly seminar. I was wondering if you ever attended; and if so, if you could give the pros and cons of his seminar?

    • Thank you!
Yes, I’ve been to Zanger’s seminar three times in the past. It’s highly recommended for traders who want to learn from the best in this business. You can know more by reading my old post here: A Special Time for Reminiscence of My Trading Journey – wp.me/p2HS2k-2S . Best luck!

Hi Angela- Thank you very much for writing such an inspiring blog which gives me so much hope that I can also succeed in stock trading.
I have some good experience with paper trading and I would like to start doing real trading. I would appreciate some guidelines as to how I can start off and and what services I ought to have. Maybe you can give as an example how you prepare for a trading week.

    • Thanks for the nice words! Like I said in my blog about my trading journey, IBD is good to read for education as an investor. Dan Zanger is good to learn from as he is one of the best in trading business. I’ve been to his seminars three times, and I’ll attend his April seminar in Vegas again. Having a good mentor is important in trading, imo.

      Good luck,

  4. Hi Angela,
I stumbled on your blog today and it’s very inspiring! Thanks for sharing with us. I’m assuming the chart patterns and Dan’s strategy still holds true for intraday microcap stocks?
